Clara Mabel Dixon, 94, passed away at her home, September 17, 2009. She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, September 9, 1915, to the late Harry and Mollie England Dixon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beaver Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Garnetta Cook and Helen Dixon and three brothers, Caywood, Lester and Desmond Dixon.

Survivors include a niece, Shirley (David) King, Claysville, a nephew, Ricky (Patti) Dixon, Oddville, one
great nephew, John King, four great nieces, Mary King, Jenny Tapp, Crystal Ard, Misti Wedding, three great great nephews, Shawn and Brandon King, Zack Hernandez, five great great nieces, Aleesha and Halee Tapp, Olivia King, Kaylee Hernandez, Emma Wedding.

Services will be conducted 2 P.M. Monday, September 21, 2009, at the Beaver Baptist Church, with burial
in Beaver Baptist Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home and after noon Monday at the Beaver Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Claysville Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
