Mrs. Gracie Edwards, 65, a resident of Hurricane Road, New Market, Ala., and a homemaker, died Friday, September 8, 1995, at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Edwards was a native of Madison County, Ala., and a member of Mount Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, James T. Moore, Jr., of Chicago, Ill., Billy Moore of Fayetteville, Jackie Moore of Huntsville, Ala., Barry Moore and Glenn Moore, both of Hazel Green, and Donald Scivally of Madison, Ala.; six daughters, Linda Williams of Huntsville, Glenda Austin of Guntersville, Ala., Barbara Thompson of Nashville, Debbie Scivally and Karen Scivally, both of Birmingham, Ala., and Elizabeth Ramsey of Hazel Green; six stepsons, William Donald Edwards, James Ray Edwards and Rayburn Edwards, all of New Market, Roy Milton Edwards of Ardmore, Dennis Lee Edwards of Huntsville and Roland David Edwards of Hazel Green; two stepdaughters, Treva Ann Mason and Eveline White, both of New Market; a brother, James Cagle of Huntsville; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 11, at Mount Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Benny Jenkins officiating. Interment followed in Locust Grove Cemetery. Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green in charge of arrangements.
