BLOOM – Richard Dale, 83, Seward, died Sept. 14, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 2, 1926, in Windber, son of John R. and Mabel (Fyock) Bloom. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Percy A. and Ross Bloom; and sisters, Florence Biss, Beatrice Gordon-Wells, Hazel Inman and Arlene Emmel-Seibert. Survived by loving wife, the former Louise Carney, Seward; and son, Rodney K., married to wife, Darice, Seward. Member of Seward United Methodist Church. Self-employed owner of Oak Hill Farm. Death breaks marriage union of 63 years. Also a member of Masonic Lodge 313, Indiana Chapter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Revs. Ruth Moore and Duk Hee Han, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
