Sharon Sue (Wilson) Burkett, age 34, died Tuesday, August 2, 1988 in Jabez, Kentucky as the result of an automobile accident.
Her mother, Murlen Dean (Bolin) Wilson, her daughter, Stacey Nicole Burkett, and her niece Ashley Nicole Baker also died in the accident.
Sharon was born on October 7, 1953 in Jackson, Michigan. She was a daughter of James Wilson and the late Murlen Dean (Bolin) Wilson. She was a homemaker and a member of Jabez Christian Home Church.
In addition to her father, she was survived by her husband, Louie Burkett; two daughters, Karen Selena Burkett and Denna Tracey Burkett, both of Faubush; one brother, Bobby Wilson, Faubush; two sisters, Penny Baker and Sandra K. Gossett, both of Faubush; and a half-sister, Jamie Wilson, Nancy.
A brother, Stanley J. Wilson preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 5, 1988 at 10:00 a.m. at Bernard Funeral Home, Russell Springs, with Bro. Dewey Cooper officiating.
Burial was in the Johnson Cemetery, Jabez, Kentucky.
