Husband of Anna Catharina (Hartbecke) Franzen (1806-1853). Father of four. Later married to Gesina (Koebbemann) Franzen on Nov. 9, 1854 in DuPage County, Illinois. He was the son of Hermann Bernhard Heinrich Franzen and Anna Catharina Gertrud (Uphaus) Franzen.

The cemetery is now defunct as the cemetery was taken over in order to build a airport runway and the burials were all relocated to different cemeteries (mostly around the area).
