Ms. Adair was a member of the Lebanon Church of Christ.
Jib (as we all knew her by this nickname) was born and raised in Hokes Bluff. She lived life to the fullest and was always laughing, smiling and joking. Jibber was a loving mother, devoted sister and friend to all whose path she crossed. She helped all she knew and continues that journey after death, for she was an organ donor and though her body was riddled with cancer, someone will be able to see their loved ones again through our sister's eyes. She couldn't emphasize enough to women old and young alike, get yourself checked for cervical cancer.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucille Norton; great-grandmother, Beulah Box; and great-grandfather, Leonard Box.
She is survived by her two children, Jason Cash and Calista Adair; mother, Kaye Long; sisters, Sarah (Kenny) Stidham, Emily (Paul) Coker; grandparents, David and Billie Norton; nieces and nephews, Haley, Paulette and Paul Coker, Hunter and Rylan Stidham; great-aunt and great-uncle, Alma and Charles Box; special friend, Melissa Mathis; and many others.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
We would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Wade; the seventh-floor nurses and staff and the eighth-floor CCU and staff at Gadsden Regional.
Special thanks to all our friends and family at Lebanon Church of Christ and Piggly Wiggly in Hokes Bluff.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
