Soloman Wampler was buried in Blue Springs Luthernan Cemetery in Moshiem, Greene CO, TN, in October 1881. It appears that Sarah's future husband and her family had deep ties in both PA and VA where their families spoke German and were Lutheran.

From "Militia of Montgomery Co, VA 1777-1790" by Mary Kegley, list of Capt. Wm. Doak's Co of Militia includes Michaiel Wampler, who is said to be under age 18. On same list are Walter, Jacob, and Peter Kinsor.

From Clerk's office, Christiansburg, VA, record of plats, book B, p. 278, surveyed for Martin Kimberling, Michael Steffey, Michael Wampler, John Phillippi Elders on 100 acres granted in Montgomery CO, Washington CO known as Paxton Glade. This was St. Paul's Lutheran on Reed Creek, which served German Reformed and German Lutheran churches. On May 30, 1798 Jacob Kinser & Wamplers signatures Jacob & George Kinser & Wamplers listed at same church.

By May 9, 1894 Sarah Jane Wampler made this beautiful quilt that she gave as a wedding gift to her son Jefferson Davis Kinser when he married Rebecca Ann Kittrell in Loudon, TN. Quilt stayed in possession of Jeff and Rebecca's older child, Alice Kinser Johnston through her son Jimmy Donald (JD) Johnston who photographed it about 2007 and sent photograph to Jeff's son's granddaughter, Doris Kinser Fountain. Doris had just sent history of Kittrell family that she wrote to him and he discovered identification attached to the quilt by his mother identifying its source. Other items may also be from the family as Alice married first and lived in family home long before her younger brother even met his since his parents died in 1930's before Fred married in 1940.
