Alexander Edwards was born in Wales and came to America about 1640. He lived first in Springfield, MA, and then was a founder of Northampton in 1654. In Northampton he and his family settled in Welsh end, later called West Street. He was the husband of Sarah Baldwin. Gravestone missing.
