Georgia Elaine Mullis, 82, of Loveland died Jan. 24, 2005, at McKee Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Erie, to George L. and Eva Essie Richards.
Her early years were spent in Erie, Berthoud, Longmont and Loveland. She attended Loveland High School and graduated in 1940. She attended business school in Denver.
Mrs. Mullis was employed as a secretary at Burkhardt Steel Co. in Denver. She retired with 30 years of service.
She married Merle Francis Mullis on Feb. 14, 1959, in Raton, N.M. The couple moved from Denver to Loveland in September 1998.
She was baptized in the Catholic Church in Erie but followed the Methodist faith. She was happiest when helping others. She enjoyed reading, spectator sports and music.
She is survived by her husband, Merle, of Loveland; a sister-in-law, Martha Ann Bretz; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Maj. George D. Bretz of Fort Worth, Texas.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Loveland Burial Park, with family members and friends participating in the services.
