John W. Deininger, age 51. Lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away April 19, 1998.

Survived by his wife, Nelda M. (Boehme) Deininger; two sons, Chad and Todd; brother, Edward; two nephews, Brian and Scott; a niece, Lauren; also survived by a host of other nieces and nephews; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Betty Boehme; brothers-in-law, Robert (Kathy), David (Linda), Don (Pam), Brian (Cheryl); one sister-in-law, Cheryl (Ron) Zinke; also survived by many close friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Deininger.

Member of the Stone City VFW of Joliet.

He was a Bronze Star Recipient for the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam.

He coached at St. Joseph's Baseball Park with the Pony Baseball League. He was a Carpet Installer for the Chicago Carpenters Local.

Memorial visitation at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Joliet on Wednesday, April 22, 2-4 and 6-9.

Memorial Mass Thursday, 9:30 a.m. at St. John's Church, 404 N. Hickey, Joliet.

Interment private.
