Geraldine Mae Cook, 86, of Fleming, died Sunday, April 30, in Haxtun.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 2 at Tennant Funeral Home. Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 at Tennant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Muhie officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Cook was born Feb. 11, 1909 to George and ViDella Nicherson Yonkers in Hay Center, Neb. She grew up and attended school in Sterling. She married William Dick Nov. 20,1926 in Akron. Mr. Dick died in 1954. She married Charlie Cook in 1964 in Topeka, Kan. Mr. Cook died in 1986.
Mrs. Cook lived in Kansas, Ovid and Julesburg.
Mrs. Cook was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Julesburg.
She is survived by daughters: Betty J Mclntire and husband Morris of Buffalo, Mo., Shirley Kaiser and husband Paul of Fleming, Donna George and husband Russell of Lodgepole, Neb., and Sally Peterson and husband Gary of Boca Raton, Fla.; sons, William Jr. and wife LaVene of Hays, Kan. and Danny and wife Karen of Ellis, Kan.; 21 grandchildren; 39 great grandchilden; and three great great-grandchildren
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by a daughter, May Lou Dick and five brothers.
