John Robert Franklin Kerwood was born December 23, 1859 in Lincoln Coounty, Illinois. He is the eldest of 10 Children born to Theophilus Kerwood and Eveline Harper. Theophilus moved his family to York, York County, Nebraskain and around 1885. John Franklin married Bula Annettie Ball, October 30, 1886 in York County, Nebraska. They were the proud parents of 4 Sons and 2 Daughters. John Robert worked for the city of Loveland until his accident in 1933. He passed away shortly after the accident.
