Dale B. Brigham, 85 of Martindale Rd., Bowling Green died Monday, (January 19, 2004) at Heritage Inn. He was born September 10, 1918 in Bowling Green to Joel Wynn and Orma (Schauweker) Brigham. He married Mariel Russell on December 8, 1938 and she survives. Dale was co-owner of Brigham's Greenhouse and owner of Brigham's Flower Shop in Bowling Green. He was a veteran of World War 2 having served with the 517th Airborne Division Army European Theater, also was a member of the First Christian Church, Life member of Elk's 818 and VFW Post 1148. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son; William Brigham, daughter; Diane Carpenter, Grandson; Alan Carpenter and granddaughter; Ronda Downard, all of Bowling Green. He was preceded by a son; Larry and brothers; Robert and Richard. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday (January 23, 2004) at 11:00am in the Dunn Funeral Home. Rev. Albert Nelson, officiating. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8pm. Officers of Elk's Lodge 818 will conduct an Elk's memorial service at 8:00pm. Military services will be conducted at the gravesite by VFW Post 1148 officers.
