On May 11, 1932, South Toe, Celo, Yancey County, N.C., Cordelia "Caroline" Burleson Ray, still married, died at the age of 59, from cancer.

* There is a difference in dates inscribed on the marker stone for Cordelia Burleson Ray, as to the information provided on her Death Certificate. To me the dates possibly appear to be on the marker stone as b. June 13, 1870 and d. May 19, 1931. Someone else may interpret differently.
