OZARK — Frank Eugene Hoyle, 75, of Ozark died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Ozark. He was born Sept. 4, 1925, in Mulberry. He was a retired Army lieutenant colonel and a veteran of both theaters of World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus and the St. Joseph Society, past president of Franklin County Co-op. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark. Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Altus. He is survived by his wife, Martha; four daughters, Karen Nichols of Fayetteville, Patsy Taylor of Fort Smith, Phyllis Wolfe of Benbrook, Texas, and Mary Ann King of London; a son, Frank Hoyle Jr. of Mulberry; three sisters, Maxine Conway of North Little Rock, Phyllis Stotts of Arlington, Texas, and Inez Allen of Alma; a brother, Clyde Hoyle of Mulberry; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Restoration Fund or the Arthritis Foundation. Times Record Online
