From the 20's thru the 50's, Miss Lizzie ran a boarding house "Wisteria Inn" on Hwy 59 in Vancleave, formerly the Dantzler Lumber Company boarding house, she added an addition on the north side adding more apartments.
Her mother 'Bett' lived with her until her death. When MS Lizzie got older, she moved to Hattiesburg to be near her sister Ella.
