Vancleave
J.P. 'Kit' Ware died Thursday afternoon. Mr. Ware was the second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Ware. He was born in Jackson County June 6, 1866. He was married to Miss Laura Belle Ware, daughter of Mrs. Angeline Roberts and the late Thomas Q. Roberts September 27, 1893.
Mr. Ware is survived by his widow, three sons, Laurin Ware of Vancleave, Roland H. Ware and Philip Ware of New Orleans; and one daughter Miss Annie Laurie Ware of Vancleave.
There is also one brother, J.J. Ware of Vancleave, and three sisters, Miss Lizzie Ware of Vancleave, Miss Ella Ware of Hattiesburg, and Mrs. Joe Reilly of Escatawpa.
There are also five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral took place Friday afternoon at Mt. Pleasant Church, Rev. O.L. Nix being in charge of the services, with Rev. R.L. Vaughn assisting. The Masons from Vancleave, Vestry and Pascagoula conducted the services at the grave.
The Dees Funeral Co. had charge of the interment.
The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.
