Local champion bull rider, Mitchell "Todd" Wright Jr, "Buck" , age 24, of Helena, passed away September 9, 2009 in Moss Point. Todd was born December 28, 1984 in Helena, MS, and was a graduate of East Central High School.
Todd was preceded in death by his Nanny, Virginia R. Wright, his uncle, James "Bubba" Wright, and his cousins Tosha Caudillo and Lacy Caudillo.
He is survived by his fiancée, Brandi Dupree, his father Mitchell Todd Wright Sr. and his mother Tanita Wright, one brother Jimmy Friday Wright II, his grandparents Jimmy Friday Wright of Helena, MS, Roger and Donna McWhorter of Big Point, MS, Cecil and Mary Caudillo of Rockledge, AL, and his great grandmother Jackie Underwood of Boaz, AL. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Heart of a Champion: Everywhere we would go; there were always people Todd would know. It didn't matter who was around, Todd knew how to brighten a frown. Rain or shine, Todd always knew how to have a good time. Riding or work, Todd knew how to make a quick buck. 110 to the end. It's all in the Heart of a champion!
Visitation for Todd will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Derrick Hoyt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Agricola Baptist Church cemetery in Agricola, MS.Pallbearers will be Friday Wright, Travis Hubbard, Ryan Herring, Eric Wilson Jeremy Mosley, Daniel Contestiable, Dustin Delmas, Colby Pepper, honorary pallbearers will be Scott Wright, Steve Wright, Cleve Wright, Tommy Caudillo, Cecil Caudillo, Donnell Noble.
