The daughter of Thomas Meadow Pierce and Lixxie Ophelia Pierce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvel Denson Kilpatrick; her parents and one son, Talmadge Kilpatrick.

Survivors include one son, Tony Kilpatrick and wife, Nichole; one daughter, Golda Ensminger and husband, Kenneth; one daughter-in-law, Delores Kilpatrick; six grand children; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
