∼Andrew Jackson Collier was the son of Commodore Perry Collier Sr. and Nancy Elizabeth Boone. Andrew's Father died when Andrew was only 4 years old and just two years later, he lost his Mother. Andrew is the brother of William Dewitt Collier and Commodore Perry Collier Jr. He was the husband of Martha Adeline Holloway. Andrew was known around Hamilton as "Uncle Jack." He had a stroke when he was a young man, leaving him paralyzed and confined to a wheel chair for the remainder of his life. He made his living as a shoe cobbler in Hamilton Texas while his wife Martha, ran the Collier Hotel. Andrew was my great great grandfather.
