Carolyn G. Goodheer, 50, of 9 Upper Drive, Blain, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at her home.
Carolyn was born on February 19, 1959 in Carlisle and was the daughter of Grace (Rice) Book of Blain and the late John E. Book.
She was a Christian and attended The Church of The Living Christ in Loysville. She was a 1977 graduate of West Perry High School and attended Northeastern Christian Junior College. She was a driver for the Amish community and had previously been employed by the former First National Bank of Loysville, CCNB and PNC Banks, all of Loysville. She loved interior decorating, was a volunteer for Heritage Christian School and was a person of great hospitality.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Thomas C. Goodheer; two daughters, LesLee and Ellen at home, and a brother, Wilford Book all of Blain. The are also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11 AM in the Perry Alliance Church, 6861 Spring Road, Shermans Dale. Her Pastor, Rev. Doran Wray will officiate, assisted by Rev. Allen Williams. Burial will be in the Church of the Living Christ Cemetery, Loysville. Friends may call at the Church of the Living Christ, Loysville on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 7-9 PM., and Saturday from 10-11 AM at the Perry Alliance Church in Shermans Dale.
A Luncheon will be held at the Blain Picnic Grounds following interment.
