Annie Sarah Boose, daughter of Sarah and John Martin Boose, was born January 2, 1882 at Knoxville, Iowa and died at her home in Carbon, Iowa on October 17, 1935 after a few days illness at the age of 53 years, 9 months, and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to Levi Thompson, who preceded her in death. On July 1, 1901, she was married to William Robison. This union was blessed with eight children, three of whom preceded their mother into the great beyond. Effie, Faye, and Edna May dying in 1913. Howard Edward in March 1935. Those left to mourn besides the loving husband are; Eliza Cross, Daisy Keith, Datis, William, and Annie Armstrong; 18 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; 4 sisters, Maude Hardin of Lewistown, Montana; Minnie De Marte of Lathrop, Missouri, Pearl Dhone of Troy, Kansas, Myrtle Thomas, Chicago, Illinois; also a half sister, Jennie Penlam, St. Joseph, Missouri and half brother, Nelson Schaffer of Troy, Kansas, and many other relatives and friends.
She joined the Free Methodist Church of Carbon, Iowa last January of which organization she had been a faithful member. Her cheerful disposition and loving kindness will be missed in the home and by friends. Services were held in the Free Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Dage, officiating.
The pall bearers were Fred Cooper, Ben Recase, Tom Debbie, Walter Olds, Frank Hunter, and Perry Smith.
Interment was made in Oakland Cemetery at Quincy, Iowa.
