In the 1920 census Owen Royal Weeks was 22 years old and employed as a Revival Manager for the Methodist Church. He visited as an Evangalistic Singer the Methodist-Episcopal Churches in Michigan. His brother indicated that this photo was taken during the period when he was involved in this ministry. While travelling he met his wife, Lorena Eleanor Shilling, the daughter of a minister, fell in love and married her on the 20th of January 1920 in Calhoun County, Michigan.
