Elaine K. Williamson
Elaine Hutton was born March 12, 1921 to Guy and Roslyn Brinker Hutton at Flandreau, South Dakota.
She grew up in the Egan area where she attended school. After her graduation from Egan High School she attended College in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She later transferred to South Dakota State University where she graduated with a degree in Home Economics. Elaine taught school in Menno and later in Garretson.
She married Vernon Julson June 6, 1948 at Egan, South Dakota. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1971.
Elaine worked in the Dietary Department at the Palisade Manor Nursing Home in the late 1970's and early 80's. She also did substitute teaching until 1982.
On September 24, 1987 she married Perry Williamson at Garretson, South Dakota.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Woman of the E.L.C.A. and Order of the Eastern Star. She was very active in church and community activities.
Elaine died Saturday at the Palisade Manor Nursing Home.
In addition to her fist husband Vernon, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dothea Moore and her parents.
