Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Pendry Choate, age 74, of 167 Westview Drive, Sparta, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late, F.J. "C", and Bessie Woodie Pendry and the widow of Dale Choate.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Theressa and Wayne Jordan of Yadkinville, Susan and Steve Andrews of Hamptonville and Teena and Larry Evans of Ennice; one son, Jim Choate of Glade Valley; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Ruth Pendry of Ennice; three sisters, Iva Dale Richardson of Gray, Tennessee, Bernice Miller of West Jefferson and Donna and Bill Phillips of Lakeland, Florida; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21st at the Grandview Memorial Chapel in Sparta. Burial will follow in the Cherry Lane Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
