Word was received that Mrs. Georgia Owen, 72, a former resident of Jefferson City, died at 6 a. m. today at Branson, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Branson Presbyterian church and burial will be at Springfield, Mo.
The Owen family lived at Marshfield before coming to Jefferson City. While here her husband, the late John B. Owen, worked in the state auditor's office under the late L. D. Thompson. Nineteen years ago the family moved to Branson where Mr. Owen was a druggist.
Mrs. Owen is survived by two children, Miss Wilma Owen and Jim Owen, of the home, and a brother, Fred Mason, who lives in Texas.
