He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 34 years. Don proudly served in the United States Navy from 1950 - 1953 and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Onion Creek Masonic Lodge. Don formerly resided in the Buda and Manchaca areas, attending Santa Cruz Catholic Church.
Don is survived by his children, Donna Hudson Hellriegel and her daughter Kaylee Marie, Sharron Mitchell and husband Allen and her children Rosey, Kelly, Danny, and Joseph, Gary Hudson and wife Rita and their children Kain, Matt, Carla, Brandi, K'Lee and Lily, Cindy Storey and husband Perry and their children Jessica and Ryan. He is also survived by his siblings, sister, Carolyn Thomas and husband Clinton and their children Andy and Kelli; brother, John Paul Hudson and wife Diana and their children Heather Pearson and Casey Hudson, and great -grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
