GALESBURG -- Martha W. Swedlund, 92, of Barneveld, Wis., formerly of Galesburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1993, at Bloomfield Manor Nursing Home in Barneveld.

Born Sept. 7, 1901, in Galesburg, she married Frank Swedlund on March 22, 1922, in Galesburg. He died Dec. 2, 1990. Surviving are one son, Leonard of Barneveld; two daughters, Joyce Swedlund of Chicago and Mary Schweppe of Bloomington, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.

She and her husband farmed near Galesburg for many years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Galesburg, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Knight Wells will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson- West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery in Galesburg.

Memorials may be made to her church.
