Asia N. Carter, of Elmira, passed away on September 4. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and had lived in El mira for 35 years. She is survived by her brother, Lucian Carter; aunts, Alberta Johnson and Geraldine Gray; and her beloved children," Ms. Ciley" and "Ms. Sophia." A calling hour will be held Monday from noon to 1 p.m., with funeral services to follow, at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park St. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
