James P. Collie, 68, of Biloxi, died Monday, September 22, 2003 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Collie was a native of Arkansas and had been a resident of Biloxi for one month. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in 1993 as supervisor in tool control. He was a member of Bonnie Chapel Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Maude Collie.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Carol Ross Collie of Biloxi, 3 sons, Greg Collie of Poplarville, MS, Devin Collie of Pine Key, FL, James Collie of Wiggins, MS, 2 sisters, Edna Laws, Forrest City, Arkansas, Gearldine Callahan of Forrest City, Arkansas, 1 brother, Donald Collie of Arkansas, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, where friends may visit 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be in Bonnie Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
