Leonard E. Lawson, 66, of Tioga, died Thursday, October 8, 1970, near Montgomery from an apparent heart attack while on a hunting trip.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Montgomery Pentecostal Church with the Rev. W. R. Coody officiating, assisted by the Rev. Paul Graves. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bess Lawson of Tioga; one daughter, Mrs. Robbie Lafitte of Mansfield; three brothers, James Lawson of Montgomery, Millard Lawson of Pineville, and Paul Lawson of Pineville; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Hawkins of West Monroe and Mrs. Ora Lee Pelton of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
