Mrs. Thelma Walker McLain--age 83, of West View Towers, died suddenly at her home. Member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church and retired employee of Marshall Spring and Bedding Co. with 30 years of service. Survivors: Sons Thomas, Knoxville and Dennis of Atlanta Ga.; stepsons Louis, Chicago, Ill. and James, Chula Vista Calif.; six grandchildren; one great grandson; sister-in-law, Cleo McLain, Knoxville. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday at West Lonsdale Baptist Church, Rev Bruce Robinson officiating. The body will lie in state 1 hour before services. Internment Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ralph Wright, Delmar Lindsay, Robert Eubanks, Gene Pippin, Denny and Rex McLain. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Friday at Weaver Funeral home.
