Clinton Boyd Dunaway, 74, Sheridan Apts., died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at the University Hospital at Birmingham where he had been a patient for five weeks.
The body will be at Brown Funeral Home until 1:30 p.m. Thursday and then will lie in state at the Grant Street Church of Christ where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. with James Falkner officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Brown Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Georgia Dunaway; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Hornbuckle, Morgan City, Mrs. James Bice, Hammond, Ind.; four sons, Howard Dunaway, Paducah, Ky., Leon Dunaway, Jemison, Ala., Joe Dunaway, Louisville, Ky., Marshall Dunaway, Birmingham; two brothers, Adlie and Tom Dunaway, Somerville; four sisters, Mrs. Lura Grizzard, Decatur, Mrs. Clara Lemmond, Somerville, Mrs. Nonie Henderson, Talucah, Ala., Mrs. Audie Abner, Cleveland, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
