Loretta May Hartman, 76 of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

She was born Sunday, May 7, 1933 in Jamestown, North Dakota. Loretta was the daughter of Emil Gustaf and Minnie Augusta (Krubeck) Zabel. She married Clifford Hartman on December 21, 1956 in Santa Monica, California.

Loretta attended Jamestown High School and had lived in the Los Angeles, California area from 1957 until she moved to Duncan in 2005. She was a homemaker and had a love for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed shopping and cherished her family. She was devoted to her husband and focused all of her time and energy on her family.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford; a daughter, Catherine Lynn Sagebiel with husband Kenton of Simi Valley, California; two sisters, Lucille Dobrenz of Canoga Park, California and Marion Dobrenz of Torrance, California; two grandchildren, Stephanie Leaman with husband Sean and Grant Nelson; three step grandchildren, Andrew Sagebiel with wife Kathleen McCarron-Sagebiel, Wesley Sagebiel and Raymond Sagebiel; one great grandchild, Jacob Leaman; one step great grandchild, Mike McCarron; two nephews, Gary Dobrenz and Tom Dobrenz, and also many cousins.
