Captain Jacob Cozatt, aged 75, died of apoplexy, last Wednesday at his late home in Parksville. He was a Federal soldier during the civil war and was esteemed by all who being acquainted with him . He was a native of Mercer county and married Miss Mary Rose, here. She survives him. Captain Cozatt moved to Boyle county many years ago and amassed a considerable fortune farming, milling and trading.
