Mrs. Oma Bagwell Buried Tuesday
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Oma Bagwell, 49, who suffered a heart attack here Sunday in the Bastrop Church of Christ with the Rev. O. O. Hartsell officiating.
Mrs. Bagwell, a native of Waco, Texas, had been a Morehouse parish resident for over 15 years. She had been in ill health for the past year.
Interment was in an Oak Grove cemetery under the direction of Robinson Funeral home. Pallbearers were Otis Wilson, Clyde Burt, Dick Anderson, Clarence Traylor, Billie Todd and Allen Keene.
Survivors are three sons, A. A. Bastrop; Clinton, a student at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge; and Wayne, Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Ben Hickman, Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Frost, Lake Charles; Mrs. Effie Harmon, Orange, Texas, and Mrs. Livoniv [Livonia] Foster, Georgetown, La.; two brothers, Tom Hasha, Lake Charles, and Bennie Hasha, Jeanerette.
