Services for PRICE WADE HALTERMAN, 76, who died last Wednesday, were conducted Saturday by Rev. Paul Sutton, pastor of Ruffey Memorial Methodist Church, with interment in Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Halterman, a native of Hardy county, was a son of the late Jonathan and Mrs. Amelia Caldwell Halterman. His wife the former Elizabeth Eisenhauer died several years ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Emma Jones, Mrs. J. K. Crane and Miss Lila Halterman, all of here, and Mrs. Charles Bensenhaver, Rig; three sons, Sgt. Herman Halterman, Tampa, Fla., and Clyde Halterman and Lemuel Halterman, both of here, 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Another son, Albert Halterman, was lost on a submarine during World War II.
