Helen married Joe Nishimoto on July 31, 1943 in Tule Lake, California. Helen & Joe were life-long farmers in the Auburn area. She was a member of White River Buddhist Temple & Auburn Garden Club. Helen was preceded in death by husband; Joe Nishimoto, sister; Masako Hiramatsu and brother; Joe Hiramatsu. She is survived by children; Jona Sasaki of Tacoma, Ellen Webber (John) of Tacoma, Marvin Nishimoto of Kirkland and Gordy Nishimoto of Auburn, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sisters; Alice Baba, Mary Norikane and Rosie Shimojima. Memorial services will be held at White River Buddhist Temple, 3625 Auburn Way N. Auburn, WA. on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. The family requests no flowers be sent, instead memorials may be made to White River Buddhist Temple.
