John Thomas "Jelly" Price Jr. was the son of John Thomas Price and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Luker. John married Allie Rhea Owen 06 Apr 1940 in Sumter Co., Alabama. John was a Southern Railway Engineer. He died on duty aboard a Southern railway train running from Picayune to Meridian, MS. The train was switching at a oil refinery near Sandersville, MS., when John reboarded the train and apparently had a fatal heart attach.
