Neva married Leon Douglas Roberts and they had three children - one son, L. D. Roberts, Jr., and two daughters Mary Belle Woolley and Bonnie Louise Tappe. She had seven grandchildren.
Neva died on April 5, 1963 in Richmond, Texas. She was buried on April 8, 1963 in Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg.

Funeral services for Ms. Neva W. Roberts, 64, were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Rosenberg.
Mrs. Roberts, a life-long resident of Fort Bend County, passed away in the Polly Ryon Hospital Friday after an extended illness.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred Tappe, Jr. and Mrs. Wilson H. Woolley of Hurst; one son, L. D. Roberts, Jr. of Rosenberg; one sister, Mrs. F. E. Hubbell of Rosenberg; four brothers, W. W. Ward and Jess F. Ward of Rosenberg, Ben D. Ward of San Antonio, and Fred Ward of Arizona, and seven grandchildren.
Burial was in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Rev. Thomas M. McClain officiated. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany and Company.
Pallbearers were Dan Hubbell, Dudley Ksionda, Edward McMillian, Bob Davis, Haman Ward, Floyd Ward, Sid Ward and Tommy Ward. * * * *
