OBITUARY OF SAMUEL JACOB KAUFFMAN

ENID, Oklahoma -- Samuel Jacob KAUFFMAN, 87, formerly of Perryton, died Friday, October 05, 2001.

Services will be at 4:00 p.m. today in the chapel of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Garvie Schmidt officiating. A second service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Perryton Mennonite Church. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery, south of Perryton.

Mr. KAUFFMAN was a cook during World War II in Colorado Springs, Colorado, before moving back to Beaver County. He was a longtime member of Perryton Mennonite Church and later moved his membership to Enid Mennonite Brethren Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mable; a daughter, Carolyn WARREN of Canadian; two step-daughters, Virginia MEADE of Enid and Erma BROWN of Greeley, Colorado; a step-son, Franklin KOEHN of Tawanda, Kansas; three sisters, Ruth RHOADS of Guymon, Lulu JOHNSON of Perryton and Mabel REITH of Woodward; two brothers, Johnny KAUFFMAN of Guymon and Ed KAUFFMAN of Colorado Springs; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Perryton Mennonite Church or the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church through the funeral home.
