Virginia A. Pederson, 76, Barronett, died June 26, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born Nov. 13, 1932, in Barronett to Clifford and Grace Ullom. Virginia was a graduate of Spooner High School. She married Peder Pederson in 1955 in Barronett. They worked together in Peder's construction business for a number of years. She was an active member of the First United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed baking and sewing.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Ullom.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Peder; children Curt (Martha) Pederson, Hudson, Cheri (Steve) Minot, Shell Lake, and Linda (James) King, Bentonville, Ark.; grandchildren Philip Pederson, Bethany Pederson, Derek Pederson, Daniel Pederson, Tony Minot, Eric Minot, Michelle Minot, Tonya Minot and Zak King; sister Marilyn (Melvin) Deerly, of Oregon; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held June 29 at the First Pentecostal Church with Pastor Dennis Witkus officiating. Music was provided by Bethany Pederson, Linda King, Derek Pederson and Kathy Witkus. Interment followed at the Barronett Lakeside Cemetery. Casket bearers were Curt Pederson, Steve Minot, Eric Minot and Zak King.
The Scalzo-Taylor Funeral Home, Spooner, was entrusted with arrangements.
