Spec. Christopher Hogg of Deltona, Florida was in his fifth week of training with D Company, 3rd Battalion 13th Infantry Regiment, which was scheduled to graduate Oct 15 2009. During basic training, he was admitted to Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital on September 3 with fever and respiratory problems. He died at age 23 from what was initially diagnosed as pneumonia. He leaves behind his parents, Sarah and Gregory Wybo; sister, Alicia; step brother, Joseph, step sisters, Heather and Megan.
