ESTHER E. GILLESPIE BREWSTER, Wash., Dec. 11. Mrs. Esther E. Gillespie, 84, died in her sleep yesterday. Mrs. Gillespie who was the wife of the late Dave Gillespie, had lived here many years. Her husband started and operated the first newspaper in town. After his death his son, Loris. managed it until he sold it. She is survived by her son, Loris Gillespie of Okanogan; Merle Gillespie in California; brothers and sister, and several grandchildren.
