Funeral services for Joy L. Bryan, 89, of 1901 Stonehill Drive, and formerly of McComb, will be held at 2 p.n. Tuesday at Hartley Funeral Home, McComb. The Rev. Mebane Pridgen officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 8:30 p.m.
Mr. Bryan died at 4:50 a.m. Saturday at Winebrenner Extended Care Facility. He had been failing health for the last year.
He was born May 24, 1903 in Findlay to Herbert and Laura (Otto) Bryan. He married Georgia Miller on Sept 23, 1933 in Stoutsville, and she survives.
Also surviving are s son, James of Los Angeles California, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Doris) King of Findlay.
Mr. Bryan retired in 1968 from the former Garwood Industries, where he had worked for 25 years. He was an auto saleman for C.B.Kelley, North Baltimore, from 1968-1982. He was a member of McComb United Methodist Church, Shawtown Grange, Blue Lodge F & AM 227 in Findlay, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, Zenobia Temple, Toledo, and the Findlay Shrine Club. He was a past worthy patron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 23 in Findlay.
