Funeral Services were held at the Boxwell Brothers Chapel in Perryton on January 28 for Mrs. Augusta Mae BOYKIN in Amarillo, who died January 24 in Zapata, Texas.
She was 69 years of age.
Rev. Al Lindley of the First United Methodist Church in Perryton officiated at the final rites. Burial was made in Ochiltree Cemetery.
Mrs. BOYKIN was born in Ochiltree County and was a graduate of Perryton high school as Augusta Mae STARK.
She was a retired beautician and had lived in Amarillo since 1965. She was married to Mark BOYKIN in 1979 in Ora Grande, New Mexico.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary BLACK of Perryton; a daughter Mrs. Billie HATAWAY of Neosho, Missouri; her mother, Mrs. Beulah STARK of Amarillo; a step-son, Mark Jr.; two step-daughters, Joyce JONES of Clatskanie, Oregon, and Kaye HEBERT of LaBarre, Louisiana; twenty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
