A.J. McAdams, age 77, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away July 7, 2008 at his home near Lincoln.
He was born March 4, 1931, at Happy, Texas, the son of Wallace Edward "Mack" and Edna Louise (Pearson) McAdams.
A. J. was preceded in death by his parents; his step mother,
Flora Bell McAdams; two brothers, W.C. "Bud" McAdams and
Curtis McAdams; two sisters, Winnie Lee Manion and Lillian
Thurman; and one granddaughter, Emma Lea Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Wanda (Stout) McAdams of
the home; four daughters, Nita Calvert of Summers,
Arkansas, Carol Morelock (and husband, Bobby) of Prairie
Grove, Arkansas, Becky Carter (and husband, Burl) and
Patricia Myers (and husband, Troy) all of Lincoln, Arkansas; three sisters, Phyllis Allen, Ellen Beal and Carrie Beal all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Burial will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
