ACOSTA, Roberto Alejandrino 76, of St. Petersburg, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Bayfront Medical Center. He, his wife, and his daughter immigrated to St. Petersburg from Cuba in 1962. After moving to Florida, he quickly learned the English language and established his own carpentry business. He loved to travel around the world on cruises with his loving wife. His biggest inspiration in life was his granddaughter, Andrea. He is survived by his wife, Maroila; children, Ileana Kwasniowski and Robert Acosta; granddaughter, Andrea Kwasniowski; and siblings, Ruben Acosta, Oscar Acosta, and Idalia Acosta. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at 9:15 am at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
