Laura Belle Jones Fox, 86, widow of Roy Fox, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Irvine Health and Rehab center after a long illness. Mrs. Fox was a native of McClure, Virginia, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ella Bach Jones. She was a retired employee of the Westinghouse Company. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Ray and wife, Denise, Fox; her daughter, Eloise and husband, Gary, Mullins; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, George Lee Fox; her daughter, Nanette Robinson; her brothers, Oscar, Fred, A.J., James, and Omar Jones.
Services were held Wednesday, September 9, at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Sherl Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Hoover Cemetery.
