Matilda "Johnson" Parrish was the daughter of Matilda Johnson who is buried next to Matilda Parrish. She also has a sister buried with them, Hazel Johnson. The father and any other members of the Johnson family are yet to be identified.
Matilda "Johnson" Parrish was born in Tennessee where she married John Parish/Parrish They made there home in the Mousetail/Spring Creek area of Perry County along the Tennessee River. Here they raised thirteen children and generations later Parrish families continue to raise their family in the area.
